Dr. Melissa Keller, a Cincinnati native, earned her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree from Wright State University’s School of Professional Psychology (Dayton, Ohio) in 2019 and has dedicated her career to helping clients to heal, grow, and live the lives they desire. Dr. Keller has spent the last five years working in private practice in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Keller applies an integrative approach to therapy grounded in a deep belief that there is inherent strength and the capacity for positive change within each of us. Dr. Keller uses a variety of therapeutic models and techniques to explore feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, overcome challenges, develop coping mechanisms, and cultivate a sense of balance and well-being.
Dr. Keller has experience working in a variety of settings including private practice, community mental health, and Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMCs) working with children through adults. She has experience offering psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, while also facilitating group psychotherapy and conducting psychological assessments.
Prior to a career change to pursue a passion for mental health, Dr. Keller earned her bachelor’s degree in business and spent years working for a Fortune 500 company in the area of procurement and supplier relations. Dr. Keller enjoys incorporating skills and experience from her corporate background with her psychological expertise in the areas of consultation, organizational health and development, and coaching.
